International Applications
Study programs for International Students are available only at the ATC British Columbia and Quebec campuses. For foreign students wanting to study at the Toronto campus, they are encouraged to contact an Admissions Representative for provincial regulations.
All programs are taught in English with exception for our Montreal campus which offers programs in French. Non-native English speakers who have English as their Second Language (ESL) must demonstrate a satisfactory level of English. ATC requires that ESL students have a TOEFL score of at least 450 (paper-based) or 133 (computer-based) completed during the past two years.
ATC may also accepts students who have completed other English tests or exams (TOEIC, Cambridge, IELTS) on a case-by-case basis.
Students needing additional ESL training will be connected with one of our partner English Language Schools in Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal.
Study Permit
As a foreign student, you most likely will need a Study Permit to study at ATC unless you take a course/programs of 6 months or less. You must then complete your course within the period authorized for your stay in Canada.
Generally speaking, a Study Permit will give you more flexibility including the possibility to apply for an extension from within Canada if you decide to continue studying in Canada.
To apply for your Study Permit in your country, you will need an Official Letter of Acceptance issued by ATC along with other documents. Please remember that processing of your application for a Study Permit may take a few months.
For comprehensive information about Study Permit, contact the Canadian Embassy/Consulate in your home country or visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

Ian Peddy
Collision Repair Graduate
I decided to look into training for auto-body. I looked around and found ATC. They were able to get me in right away and I found that I was learning more than some of the people who took the same course elsewhere. Today I manage the auto-body shop at Uniglobe.
